Review summary

Even though we upgraded to a mini suite space on this ship within the rooms is very tight.  While the styling is attractive to look at, the function is less than desirable.  Storage if very narrow due to the design -- not enough rooms for shirts and slacks to lay flat on shelves.

The most uncomfortable part of this cabin was the bathroom.  It is extremely odd to enter a cabin through the bathroom with the shower on one side, toilet on the other and the sink open to the cabin.  It is embarrassing if room service is ordered.  It is impossible for one passenger to get up and allow others to continue sleeping.

I would not use this type of cabin again -- even though it was a mini suite.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Specialty restaurants are great. The Garden Cafe seating is an issue.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Difficult to find an area that wasn't EXTREMELY noisy!

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Some of the entertainment was great while some that was considered family friendly had too much "bathroom humor".

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
Much was good.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service at the Garden Cafe was not great.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Much of the furniture and carpets in common areas was worn.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Storage is a problem. Entering through the bathroom is awful! It is also impossible for someone to get up early and get ready while someone else sleeps. I would never choose this cabin again or one like it.

Ship tip

You need to reserve all dinners and shows immediately upon entering the ship. Many desired activities and dinner times are gone quickly. First time travelers may find nothing they wish to do will be available if they wait.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

Only great because we spent the entire day at Mystic Mountain where there is much to do and you aren't pestered by vendors.

George Town, Grand Cayman

The Dolphin Experience where they wanted to charge $ 125 for a CD of our pictures was a total rip off! We did a similar experience in Honduras last year which was fabulous!

Cozumel, Mexico

We went on the Dune Buggies which were fun. Snorkeling was a problem -- not enough help -- and an unsuccessful experience.
