The transatlantic cruise on the Epic was wonderful. The food was great and service was good. As always\, the show \"fabba\" was excellent (we've been on Epic 3 times and this is one of the reasons why) and we really enjoyed the \"Manhattan Band\" which played nightly in the atrium. We also really enjoyed the educational talks/PBS broadcasts on Grand Central Terminal and the history of Packard cars.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Best meal: mushroom stroganoff in Manhattan Room
Best desserts: Grand Marnier Soufle and crepes in Garden Grill

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Loved Fabba\, Country Line Dance night\, and the Manhattan Band
Enjoyed the Blue Man Group\, the hypnotist\, and the guest speaker with PBS videos

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It would be advantageous if a map in the elevator explained how to get to the fifth deck (by escalator mid-ship) when in the aft-elevators

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Handicap room is spacious and well laid out but I know from previous experience that regular balcony staterooms are cramped and the art nouveau design of curved walls create congestion. The studio cabin is a great idea but the double/queen bed takes up most of the room - since the rooms are designed for single people\, why not put single beds in there and free up a lot of space

Pros: ship is beautiful with high standards

Cons: shore excursion was misrepresented and NCL did not respond to my complaint as they said they would

Recommends Norwegian Epic? Yes!
