Very Ejoyable

Sail Date: December 01, 2013

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

It was BIG - bigger than I thought. The stairwells and elevators were too far apart\, more access needed up and down mid-ship.

Pros: Just getting away to warm weather\, the special restaurants

Cons: Smoking allowed on balcony

Recommends Norwegian Epic? Yes!

Ship Quality
See stairs and elevators above. The Exercise area was EXCELLENT - great equipment. Really enjoyed the freedom to exercise off all the food I was eating.
Food and Dining
Cagneys and Le Bistro great. Other restaurant (non-paid - Manhattan and Taste ok\, but lacked creativity in menu). We did enjoy the Garden Caf and its variety.
Cabin / Stateroom
WE HATED THE RIGHT ALLOWED OF OTHER GUESTS ON ADJOINING BALCONIES TO SMOKE. IT RUNED MANY TIMES WE WERE ON OUR DECK AND HAD TO RETREAT TO THE INSIDE BECAUSE THE CHAIN SMOKER NEXT DOOR WAS ALWAYS OUTSIDE SMOKING ON HIS DECK. RUINDED THE PRICE WE PAID FOR A BALCONY....Pretty small. Very tight area between bed and counter\, hard to maneuver with even just two people.
Service and Staff
Irwin\, our cabin steward\, was excellent. Rest of crew was excellent and friendly\, warm.
Entertainment
Loved Blue Man Group\, then Legends..Second City ok\, a bit lame\, and the Crew Show was lots of fun.
