I've been on 30\,000 ton cruise ships and this 155\,000 ton floating city. At some point\, a ship gets too big (or maybe to many crowds and this one might just a bit larger and hard to get around on than I'd choose. Elevators were often forever in coming due to the massive passenger load but\, once you learn your way around (direct routes/shortcuts)\, it's not bad except once you do learn the basics\, the cruise is half over! This size ship would be wonderful for a 10 to 14 day cruise anywhere. The \"freestyle\" concept makes the relaxation easier and the rate for my balcony stateroom (mini-suite) was excellent. Other lines would have charged for double occupancy even for the solo traveler which had\, until now\, caused me to pass on cruises in general.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I preferred the \"Taste\" main dining room to it's counterpart but also was very fond of O'Sheehans Pub. The buffet was quite comprehensive\, although initially a bit hard to navigate\, and had excellent food and food choices

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
I enjoyed quiet time in my cabin and on the balcony went not wandering the many entertainment and dining venues but would like to have had more TV channels available OR a DVD player and comprehensive ship library of videos to watch. Also\, the refrigerator was a nice inclusion in the cabin although it didn't keep things very cold

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5

Pros: Solo Traverer Rate For Great Balcony Stateroom

Cons: Hard finding my way around - Confusing buffet arrangement (but excellent food)
