outside stateroom

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

We found the ship to be very large with more people that on other cruises we have taken.  There is no need to book a stateroom with a balcony as there is nothing but ocean to look at and the temp. was not good for sitting on the deck.  Entertainment was so so.  The food in the resturants was very good.  No need to pay to dine in the others that have a cover charge.  Need to have announcements piped into the room as one had to open the cabin door to hear the announcements.  Stateroom set up is that the bed is the only usable space.  The couch is of little use as you can't even watch the TV from it.  All in all we were pleased with the cruise, a time to just relax and not have to be up and decide what we were going to do for the day.

The couch is useless--would rather have a table and chairs.

Tip

eat at the sit down resturants, the garden cafe is okay for early breakfast but if it is later you have trouble finding a place to sit and eat.
