Wonderfully Exhausting Cruise

Huge, fantastic, beautiful, looks like there's a lot to do, but when you look closer, not so much. The parties on deck always seemed to be the same. Even though we went to areas that were supposedly restricted to adults, we still found children (no enforcement). The ship seems to cater more to younger children, with the smaller pools and the water slides. A lot of the activities could have gone either way, but it seemed like they were overtaken by the kids. The basketball/soccer court, the rock climbing wall, the pools and hot tubs, the water slides. Even the adult parties seemed to attract parents with their children. The evening entertainment seemed to be the only thing that mainly attracted adults which was a fantastic array of options including: Blue Man Group, a Cirque and dinner show etc.
All of the dining areas were great, the variety of food was wonderful, but the majority of the restaurants were specialty dining for an extra fee. The only specialty restaurant we went to was a disappointment. But everything else was great!!

Pros: Food, Entertainment, Ports

Cons: Pool, Alcohol Charges

Recommends Norwegian Epic? No.

Ship Quality
The pools were a disappointment
Food and Dining
The complimentary dining was great! The specialty dining (only tried one restaurant) did not impress me at all.
Cabin / Stateroom
Stateroom was great. We were 3 people in there, so it was a little crowded for us, but I was expecting this so am very pleased with the overall space.
Service and Staff
Everyone was great!
There's a large variety and it seems like there will be something to see or do every night. But most of it is the same, or for example the pools were a major disappointment, or it's for an extra charge.
