The Epic is huge. The people who work on the ship were unbelievably courteous and nice. They all seemed to enjoy what they did. We caught some of the cooks singing a song playing outside the restaurant and some of the girls would laugh and do a little dance and then giggle when they saw us watching. This shows they were having fun at their job and we like dealing with people like that. All of them said hello and smiled at us. This means a lot. The ship was spotless. The food is better than any cruise we have been on and the entertainment was better than any we saw on other cruises. Once of the best things Norwegian did was create the studio rooms and lounge. Our adult son stayed in one and we didn't see him the entire cruise because he met other singles and really had a good time with them and cruise staff.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Love the Freestyle concept and dining rooms were beautiful. The food offerings are better than any ships we have cruised.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
They have the best entertainment. Blue Man Group and Cirque de solei were outstanding. The dueling piano guys were personable and entertaining. My son was there every night and enjoyed them throughout the cruise. Mr. Epic contest was fun and so were the other activities.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
No matter where we went on the ship, the staff was always pleasant, friendly and accommodating. They were always smiling and I love the way Norwegian had water and a place for us to sit at the ports on our return from tours. That was a really nice touch.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Spotless, decor was nice but the hallways were narrow for those in a wheelchair, motorized scooter or someone pushing a baby stroller.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Again, the rooms were small but well appointed with all that anyone needs when they cruise. The beds were comfortable. I would have liked more choices on the TV.

Pros: The ports of call and the cruise ship

Cons: The elevators didn't go all the way up or down in certain places and there were not too many shops on the ship..

Recommends Norwegian Epic? Yes!
