An excellent cruise in many ways

Sail Date: January 22, 2011

Room Type: Balcony

We were looking forward to cruising on the Epic as we had heard so much about it beforehand. We were not disappointed. There was plenty to do, lots of fun and excitement. You just can't beat the pricing compared to other vessels of this size and the fact that it's a brand new ship. We couldn't say enough about our cruise. Everyone was so friendly and helpful in every way.

Pros: the entertainment

Cons: there were so many paying restaurants

Recommends Norwegian Epic? Yes!

Food and Dining
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
NCL really should use better quality toilet paper.
Service and Staff
There is always plenty to do, if anything, lots of things were scheduled back to back but if you plan it right, you can do it all.
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
This port is a waste of time. It is so commercialized. People were desperate to get your sale but the prices were much too high. Who would pay more in Mexico for what you can buy it for in the states?
Cozumel, Mexico
A nice relaxing place to stretch the legs, people were friendly. Lots of places to get cheap drinks if you are into that. You didn't feel you were getting ripped off.
Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
Nothing much to see.
