We've cruised the Caribbean so many times before we swore we would never cruise there again, until we found out about the new NCL Epic. It was the entertainment on board that made us choose this ship, and we weren't disappointed! The ship itself is very well appointed. We never felt there were 4,000 other guests on board, unless we were looking for deck chairs at the pool.

The Epic doesn't have a traditional jogging/walking track. It only has a small area that goes back and forth on one side of the ship, and it had no view whatsoever.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had a cabin with a balcony on Deck 12. The cabin was very nice, and smaller than any other we had experienced before.

The Aquaventure excursion to Atlantis was great. However, it took so long to get off the ship and travel to the Atlantis, we lost about an hour and a half. Tha'ts quite a bit of time considering it was $150 per person.

Don't Miss: We had done the America's Cup Yacht race here about 18 years ago. We tried it again this cruise and would highly recommend it to all. It was a great experience.

Pros: The on-board entertainment was the best I've ever experienced on a cruise ship. It was like being in Las Vegas---except floating in the ocean.

Cons: The only drawback, in our opinion, is being "nickel and dimed" to death at every turn. We'd rather pay an extra $200-$250 UP-FRONT, and be allowed in any restaurant, any bar, and exercise class.

Recommends Norwegian Epic? Yes!
