Cruise in a bottle

Sail Date: August 01, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Balcony

Cabin with balcony felt like a sardine can, no room to move in, every morning found cigarette butts and matches thrown down onto balcony. Toilet area is smaller than shower area which you walk through when you enter the room. Everything on this ship is about making a buck. Kids were allowed in adult venues, especially Second City, which made the performances disappointing. Our room steward was fanastic.

Pros: Food in Taste restaurant wasn't bad, desserts were lousy

Cons: Smoking everywhere including not smoking areas

Recommends Norwegian Epic? No.

Ship Quality
Clean but cramped
Cabin / Stateroom
CRAMPED is all I can say about it.
Food and Dining
More to pay for restaurants then free with not enough seats. Taste was open to other decks above which included the casino, so the noise level in the restaurant was high, you could only hear those seated next to you. Also, smoked drifted down.
Service and Staff
Room steward was exceptional!!! The beverage servers in restaurants and pool areas sometimes had to be hunted down or get your own drinks.
Entertainment
Blue Man and Legends were great.
