Epic Cruise Mess

This is in NCL wording "Guests should not feel obliged to offer a gratuity for good service. However, all of our staff are encouraged to "go the extra mile," and so they are permitted to accept cash gratuities entirely at the discretion of our guests who wish to acknowledge particular staff members for exceptional or outstanding service. In other words, there is genuinely no need to tip but you should feel free to do so if you have a desire to acknowledge particular individuals." yet we are access a 12 dollar a day service charge. Whether you self tip room steward and use the speciality restaurant which have additional charges anyway. The night scene or activities were very limited after 11pm. The supposely adult venues were attended by children. This was extremely disappointing. We have cruise 5 times with different cruise lines. The speciality restaurant were exceptional, but you have to pay $20 and over plus 15% grat. Otherwise after the regular restaurant were the same food day after day. No variety. We will not returned to NCL. We also had the opportunity to speak with other crusiers that were disappointed as well.

Ship Quality
NCL needs to change the location of the teen and children clubs since certain activities for the adult venue could be seen from the club. I did not like that the casino was in the middle of the ship. It was difflicult for families to circumvent the casino.
Food and Dining
Speciality restaurant was excellent. The rest of the restaurants were less than average. The pizza was horrible.
Service and Staff
The guest service staff seem to be overworked and not knowlegable to answer guest questions.
Entertainment
Need more activities. I am not a gambler and felt very limited in my activities options if I did not want to participate in family events.
