The cruise was truly enjoyable. The resteraunts were all good. If you are an early riser and early diner you will never be inconvenienced by long lines or waits. We were there when the water slides were opened and could ride all of them as many times as we wished without an undue wait.
When we went to the resteraunts we never had to wait (we made reservations at all of the pay resteraunts for 5:30 and went right in and never had a service problem.
We really missed having a good promenade deck that we could walk around and see the ocean as we walked (deck 7 on most ships). In the future we will make sure to check deck plans so that this feature will be available.
The buffet was fine, anyone who has a complaint must have missed part of the buffet because they had something for everyone.
We would probably not sail on the Epic again but it was still a great experience and would recommend it be tried at least once.
The welcome aboard pamphlet should tell the passengers that you must leave a card in the holder inside the door in order for the lights to work. Also, the waterproof bin under the sink is for dirty towels, not trash.
If you like for your legs to be tucked in and not hanging free the bed will be way too short. This problem is more than made up for with the good quality of the bed and bedding.

Pros: Emabarkation and debarkation

Cons: Tobacco smoke permeated both the casino area and all of the open decks, also no true promenade deck.

Recommends Norwegian Epic? Yes!

Food and Dining
All of the food was very good, but the buffet was pretty much the same every day.
Entertainment
Only went to two and found both to be excellent.
Cabin / Stateroom
Storage was great for 2 but if you had 3 or 4 you would find it too tight. It would not be worth the savings to add more people to a stateroom unless they were children.
Service and Staff
Never encountered a sour face. Quite an accomplishment considering the hours that the staff and crew have to work.
