The Norwegian Encore is a fantastic ship for families! I highly recommend booking your cruise on Norwegians newest ship.

It was a really nice cruise. We did have a good time. If you are a smoker beware, there are only 2 smoking areas on the ship. One is a long box type room on deck 8 outside. The other is in the closed in smoking area of the casino. If the casino is closed, then you are stuck to the area on deck 8.

Family and friends vacation with multiple rooms booked. Communicating was critical for us with such a large party. We purchased the 9.95 package for texting and calls onboard. The service worked intermittently. Some could receive texts, but not respond, some could receive calls and others couldn't, some texts were delivered hours later. It was a real pain setting up the service initially. Definitely should be done before arriving on the ship. The beauty of cruising is that most of the entertainment and food was included with the price. This ship seems to limit the included items and emphasizes the fee related activities/food. I among others that I spoke with on the ship would prefer not to sail on this ship again.

This was our 4th Norwegian cruise. We love the freestyle dining, casual atmosphere, food, and variety of activities available. We already put down a deposit for our next one.

The cruising on the ship was great except for the lack of show availability. The choice destinations were good except for Tortola. I would go again and probably visit the western Caribbean or Mexico. The ship is beautiful with plenty to explore each day.

Terrific week on the water away from nasty northern weather. Amazing floating city of a ship with something for everyone to do. Excellent entertainment!

We cruised Norwegian for the first time last year on the bliss and loved it. Convinced family to come with us on this ship. There seem to be kinks to work out on the corporate level and his ship feels like it is suffering from an identity crisis. I’d price out royal before committing to another ncl. It may seem more expensive at first but when there is a sense that the line is nickel and diming you at every corner with an extra fee and lack it reservations (we tried over 100 days out to book things and they were full), you might come out better paying for another company’s cruise.

This is amazing experience, if you can, do it of course i will doit again if a can

Overall I enjoyed my cruise. Gained weight because the food was good. Alcohol beverages could have tasted better. Beautiful ship. Great ship for family vacations with teenagers and young children.

Had a bartender argue with me over a drink he said I said one thing but I said another and kept denying I said what i said. Other wise all the bartenders were great. Also my wife and i thought the food was a bit salty.

Overall was a great cruise! Plenty of stuff to do for all individually and together. That's why we cruise!

Never again would I go on that cruise line again ,ppl don’t do it

We have cruised higher end lines and overall we were more impressed by the ship, staff, food and entertainment on this cruise than any others we have been on. We met people that we really believe will end up being lifelong friends. We overly enjoyed the Haven experience and would highly suggest it. We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and we had a spectacular trip!

This was a last minute decision that was booked 2 weeks out. Everything about the cruise was good. The cruise before on another cruise line had kind of soured us on cruises, but this helped us regain our faith. We are already looking to book in the future with NCL. The concept of 30 places to hang out vs everybody in one central place really makes it feel more comfortable.

There are many things to like about the Encore, but just about as many things to dislike. The internet service (or lack thereof) was really bad so don't thinking you're getting anything close to "unlimited" service unless you pay EXTRA, and for EACH device!! Overall, I expected more from NCL.

Expected more for the price. Disappointed with the pool area and some of the ports. Personally liked the Epic much better.

Nice ship. The staff needs some time to figure it out. The pool, children play areas need better supervision

Overall rating is inflated...wouldn't give higher than 2.5; Not for large families or folks looking forward to slides, racetrack, pools-just too many people & too few operating hours to accommodate # of passengers; put off by the nickel & diming aspects-lots of extra charges for activities--mandatory "gratuity" on everything of 20%--whether deserved or not & not included in perks--ie, had to pay ~$400 gratuity for "free" dining/beverage pckgs even though also had "free gratuities" perk. Not a gratuity--simply another charge!--Be honest and at least put the daily charge in the original booking price. Having to reserve everything makes this anything BUT a "freestyle" cruising experience--way too Disneyfied now...will opt for much smaller ships and more all-inclusive pricing cruise lines in future

Ocean Blue was horrible! Bad service and average food.

Great boat if you're ok to wait in line for attractions (speedway, water slides, VR). If you're going for the spa - go on another boat - they built the arcade ON TOP of the spa. The Vibe beach cabanas are not great - don't spend the money on these. Read the fine print on every promo you think you're getting - there's terms that basically prohibit many from being of much use.
