A small ship was cut in two, with more cabins added in the center of the ship, but without adding the necessary additional infrastructure. Elevators held 4 passengers. Stairs were narrow. Public areas were crowded. The "casual dining" area was a small sports bar, capacity 95!! Only one small buffet, one coffee spigot, one water spigot, which passengers used to refill their personal water bottles. The food was so uninspiring, that we lived for the last 5 days entirely on the cereal and fruit we were able to smuggle past the "Banana Nazi" stationed at the door of the Sports Bar. Public areas were so crowded that we spent 14 days in our cabin.

Pros: Cabin staff tried very hard to make the cruise pleasant. Interesting itineraries.

Cons: Food, crowding, very slow service, lack of infrastructure, inadequate public areas, especially dining, lack of cleanliness in public areas

Recommends Norwegian Dream? No.
