Review summary

The Dream is not a ship for that many passengers everything about the ship is organized wrong, This event took placed everyday we waited 45 minutes to an 1 hour for an omelet at the restaurant "Four Seasons" when we asked why it was late, the reply was we only have one person making Omelets. . That was totally an unacceptable answer. The service was OK when they took the order once you had your food that was the last time you got anything else. A ship that size with over 2000 people on board should have a least 5 cooks making food. The pools was very dirty and unusable not enough room to lie in the sun; chairs were not available unless you got up at 07:00 am and secure a place. Not enough tables to eat on deck. The ice-cream bar did not open till second day into the cruise and the ice-cream was melted it was only open for a couple hours, the line to get ice cream would take over an hour to get a single scoop cone. There was no chocolate milk on board, when you asked for chocolate milk they would bring you Hot Chocolate. It was not till the fourth day of the cruise and several complaints when the restaurant would have chocolate milk. The food quality was terrible and cold at the restaurant and the buffet after midnight there was nothing open to eat other than room service, and if they even answer the phone. So basically after midnight you had no choice but to drink at the bar and the bar would close at 2 am. The picture taking was terrible every picture they took of our family with the exception of on of our kids were bad. They would offer to fix but it would cost more money, what a scam! The karaoke was only open for two hours till midnight and by the time you get your song in, they would tell you that they are no longer accepting songs because they had enough to cover the night (2hours). The shows were not very good quality other than the impressionist and the comedy hour. The cruise director or assistant did not interact with the passengers. The worse Public Relations ever. Overall when we go on a cruise like this one, we would expect to have fun without all the limitations that were imposed on my family and I. I think for $2,880.00 that I spend I could have gone to a resort and sing and have fun all night long not worry about the place closing. The schedule on this cruise was very tied and did not flow at all. We are totally disappointed with this cruise and the DREAM and we will never travel on it again.
