Review summary

ANY CRUISE IS A GREAT CRUISE, BUT THIS SHIP REALLY WASN'T THAT GREAT. IT DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH ROOM FOR PASSENGERS AROUND THE POOLS ( WHICH WERE VERY SMALL ) KIDS WERE ALLOWED TO JUMP AND SNORKLE IN THE HOT TUBS!! BUFFET ROOM DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH SEATS SO YOU WERE CONSTANTLY WALKING AROUND TRYING TO FIND A SEAT. NOT ENOUGH SEATS AROUND THE POOL. YOUTH PROGRAMS WERE HORRIBLE. NOT THAT MANY ACTIVITIES OVERALL. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PARTICULAR SHIP. STAFF WAS NOT THAT FRIENDLY.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
FOOD WAS OK BUT THE STAFF WAS NOT VERY FRIENDLY. MOST DID NOT UNDERSTAND ENGLISH THAT WELL AND CONSEQUENTLY BROUGHT THE WRONG ITEMS. HAD TO WAIT QUITE A WHILE TO GET INTO SOME OF THE DINING ROOMS, FREE STYLE DINING WAS A GOOD IDEA BY LETTING YOU GO TO EAT WHENEVER YOU WANT BUT IT SEEMED LIKE EVERYONE WANTED TO GO AT THE SAME TIME WHICH MEANT THEY COULD NOT ACCOMMODATE EVERYONE.

Entertainment

THERE WERE SOME ACTIVITIES BUT NOT THAT GREAT

Children's Programs

1 out of 5
THIS WAS OUR BIGGEST COMPLAINT OF THE SHIP. I GUESS NORWEGIAN ISN'T VERY FAMILY ORIENTED. THEY CERTAINLY DID NOT CATER TO THE KIDS. THE KIDS CLUBS WERE CLOSED WHILE WE WERE IN PORT. THEY DID NOT HAVE MANY PLANNED ACTIVITIES. IT SEEMED LIKE THEY PLOPPED THE KIDS IN FRONT OF THE TV ALOT AND LET THEM WATCH MOVIES SO THEY WOULDN'T HAVE TO BE BOTHERED DOING ANYTHING WITH THEM. EVEN WHEN WE WERE AT SEA THEY CLOSED THE CLUBS SO THE KIDS HAD TO LEAVE AT CERTAIN TIMES UNTIL THEY OPENED AGAIN AT A LATER TIME.

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
WE DID NOT FIND THE SHIP STAFF TO BE VERY FRIENDLY. WITH ONLY A FEW EXCEPTIONS.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
SHIP WAS TOO SMALL FOR THE AMOUNT OF PASSENGERS. PUBLIC AREAS WERE CONSTANTLY DIRTY IN NEED OF WIPING UP, FOOD ON THE DECKS, AND EMPTY PLATES ON THE TABLES.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
THE STATEROOM WAS FINE EXCEPT THAT MY TWO CHILDREN AGES 10 AND 13 , GIRL AND BOY , HAD TO SHARE A PULL OUT COUCH AS THE THIRD AND FOURTH PASSENGERS IN OUR CABIN. WE HAVE TAKEN THREE OTHER CRUISES ON THREE DIFFERENT LINES AND THEY ALWAYS HAD THEIR OWN BUNKS. THIS CAUSED MANY PROBLEMS AS YOU CAN PROBABLY SEE.

Ports of call

St. George's, Bermuda

5 out of 5
ST GEORGE'S WAS A VERY QUAINT TOWN WITH LOTS OF SIGHT SEEING. YOU CAN DO IT ON YOUR OWN LIKE WE DID BECAUSE YOU CAN WALK TO EVERYTHING.
Don't Miss: IF YOU HAVE KIDS GO TO TOBACCO BAY OR ST. CATHERINE'S BEACHES

Pros: GREAT ITINERARY

Cons: VERY DISAPPOINTING YOUTH PROGRAMS

Recommends Norwegian Dream? No.
