The average age of the passengers meant that most of the fun activities did not have many participants.

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
The food was of poor quality. The menu did not change from day to day. If you didn't like it the first day, it was the same the next. The staff improved after the first few days. I would rather tip the staff I enjoyed the most rather than having a mandatory tip added to my invoice. The Bistro gave excellent service

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The age of the passengers eliminated many from participating in some of the fun things we have done on other cruises. It was the most boring cruise I have ever been on. There was no deck party in the entire 2 weeks. I have never had so much time to do nothing.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was friendly and fun. The Captain was the best we ever had. He had a sense of humor and interacted with the passsengers.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Our state room was great, but there was a lingering odor near the elevators that never disappeared. The layout made it difficult to move around the ship in the area of the loung. You had to go through (Not allowed when rehearsals were taking place, and inconvenient if a program was in progress) the lounge, or go up one or two flights, over and down

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our state room was great. The pool area was fine, but the pools were small and unexciting.

Pros: we got away for two weeks, we met some nice people

Cons: the food

Recommends Norwegian Dream? No.
