Embarkation was terrible. There was no handicap assistance, and I had to beg for a wheelchair and had to push it myself. Freestyle cruising was designed to make you wait in line, the revolving waiters never knew your needs. The food was ok but not much variety. Activities onboard were very limited. If you get hungry at night, stash something in your room, as the ship shuts down except for the bars. Staff on ship not very friendly. Buffet was non-existant except in sports bar.One of the Terraces restaurants was closed at lunch. We took the 16 night, Miami to Rome Transatlantic cruise in April 2002. Never again this ship should be used on cruises 7 days or shorter. This was my 10th cruise and second on Norwegian. Richard W., Wyoming
