We all enjoyed NCL. Only a few things I would change. If you treat staff well, they will treat you well. They are trained to handle rude people. We were surrounded by University spring breakers from Georgia University. I thought they were great, only met 2 rude young people. One screaming at his girlfriend, another trying to pick a fight in front of me. Wonder how he makes out in the real world? This is my 14th cruise. Always amazes me how well people an behave. I'm sure security are around the ship, we just don't see the. The ship shows were also great. Amazing talent, dancers, singers. They must realize how impressed we are with their talent, they are a lot younger than us, that's why they are jumping around, not me.
Embarkation

Took me an hour to get onboard. My last 5 cruises with Celebrity, max 20 minutes. I arrived when they told me to. They had to take our temperature, complete extra forms, expect it every cruise.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
I thought food was very good. Buffet, main dining rooms. Had room service one night, very good pizza. They charge you but think of the food you are receiving. Good selection, there may be an evening where you are simply tired out.
The Havana Club Cigar Bar
4 out of 5
This is where folks lock themselves in to smoke and there is a bar right outside to sit and listen to music
Garden Cafe

O’Sheehan’s Neighborhood Bar & Grill
5 out of 5
Great, chicken wings. Lots of comments here and not all positive. We were fine with our service but others had lots of complaints
Bliss Ultra Lounge
5 out of 5
Had a lot of fun here, the staff get involved and dance also amongst us. Some of us needed guidance😉
Aqua Main Dining Room

Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
I'm a lay by the pool gal but there was plenty to do. I love my sea days, people watching, driking mudslides. I almost, at 60, participated in pool games but at 60, competing with 20 year old university students who do that twerk thing? Not happening unless I drink one mudslide to many.
Hot Tubs
4 out of 5
It was spring break, how to put 15 kids in one hot tub singing country music. I never get in a hot tub but they are there...I love it when they drop their phones in and try and find it?🤔
Casino
5 out of 5
Lots of machines, I got lucky my last night. They smoke I here. I'm non smoker but didnt bother me
Entertainment
5 out of 5
I found there was more entertainment than on my Celebrity cruises. Maybe the smaller ship? but we all thought entertainment was great, the pool, the Atrium, Bliss longe. Everywhere we went, I had to stop to listen. In fact, I had many choices, couldn't do it all.
Stardust Theater
5 out of 5
Don't miss a show, dancing, comedies, all very good
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Only saw cranky customers, no cranky staff. Plus we were all dealing with the corona virus and we were last group off ship, then they shut ship down. We have heard of no reports on our facebook page for the Dawn of people sick. We all in day 7 quarantined.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
A smaller ship than I'm used to but was easy to get around except for a weird thing at end of ship, going from 7 to 6 deck. I still was figuring my way around. I knew where to eat, where to swim, where to find entertainment and finding our cabin on deck 5 was easy. We liked the way the rows of chairs were on different levels at the pool bar, in front. The smokers smoke in casino. I cleaned up the last night at casino. Won on 4 machines for $225.00. I play small. Penny machines only.
Cabin / Stateroom

I was confused because, to me, the beds were set up from head to toe instead of me rocking left to right with ship. They do that so you are on either side of window. At times, didn't know ship was moving. Day after departure from Tampa was a bit rough for me. I popped a pill, went to pool deck. All ok.
When I rock myself to sleep, I want left to right. I was rocking head to toe? I know, weird. I liked our cabin. Big picture window, you are low to water. Middle of ship also. Very important if you are prone to seasickness. Bright window. Cabin had oodles of storage for 2 women. Plus we were adjoining to our friends so we kept door open. Some noise at night above us but Infrequently. Cabin clean, size fine. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Air conditioning worked. My flat iron wouldn't heat up but when I got home, worked fine. I normally get a balcony but we got a good deal. I would do Oceanview again for right price.
Ship tip
TV is spotty, we were all concerned about the news due to Corona virus. Internet was our pet peeve. Very, very expensive and we all blew (8 of us) our free 240 minutes because we didn't understand you have to log out. They reset me. I'm used to receiving unlimited internet as a perk with Celebrity. In a time of crisis, I didnt have free internet. Plus they charged us $9.95 to use free app. No, that's not right. We had free liquor but they charged you a tax while in Tampa. Eight women in this trip, in our 50's all said the same. Give us free unlimited internet. Don't nickel and dime us. I would rather you hid it in the price.
Loved this! We almost stayed on boat because of tendering and a late night of dancing. Its beautiful, we needed a number, didnt bother, got off boat at 1 pm. Large lines until then. Last boat was 430 I think. Maybe later...
We went on a ship excursion, snorkeling, wow. Phil took care of us, it was wonderful. Scarey drive because I don't like big hills. But I saw beautiful fish and he had a kayak and life belts for us.
We were off quickly, staff were great showing us the way, moving us through customs. We walked our luggage right off. At airport by 830 for a 1.5 hour wait at Air Canada because of virus. I was glad to get back to Canada for self isolation
