Review summary

The island of Bermuda was awesome.  We took a 6 hour guided tour from a native Bermudian who showed us so many wonderful out of the way spots and beaches.  It was fantastic.  I have only used NCL once 4 years ago in Alaska and they were great.  This cruise did not come close to that.  Food in dining rooms was mediocre at best.  Specialty restaurants were great. Disembarking was the worse in all my 10 cruises by far.  They seemed disorganized and chaos ensued.  The "no liquid" policy was a pain and I had to hunt down an officer to get club soda.  Our inside cabin was awful.  You had to move the bed to open the closet.  I have had inside cabins in 3 other cruises and never had a problem.  Really disappointed in cruise but loved the island.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Dining room food and menu was mediocre at best. Specialty restaurants were really good.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Aerial act team was excellent.

Service and Staff

Great room attendant, Kristine. Java Cafe employee was arrogant and showed up late almost every day.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
It was clean but trying to move around the drink area in the Cafe was like playing bumper cars with people trying to get their drinks and no place walk around them or by them.

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
Cabin was small but no problem. Nice shower. Had to move the bed to open the closet and get your clothes out which really was a pain. Had 10 inches of clearance from the end of the bed to the closet so sneaking by at night to use the bathroom without waking my sister was a real problem. TV was tucked up in a corner. We were trying to watch the Hurricanes (Matthew and Nicole) and the only way to watch tv was to lie in bed. No chairs or anywhere else to sit in room. Really disappointed.

Ship tip

Know what you are getting into. If you have a large stateroom then you can ignore the rest but if you have a smaller inside cabin this ship is awful. Expect to wait in lines everywhere you go and especially when you disembark.

Agree with you on the cabin size. We had a balcony room and it was much smaller than others we have had on princess. Enjoyed the specialty restaurants and the dining room food was good but nothing to race about. We just waited until the very end and had a pretty easy disembarkation. Did you go on the tour with Heidi?
