Thanks for sharing your cruise.

Thank you for the thoughtful response and sorry for the redundancy on ccl- any comparison to others is simply countered by well that's covered in the higher rates. You are right I should have actually read the terms. Thanks

Here is there policy..... sorry the rep was misinformed (not unusual for NCL): Wine & Champagne Policy Guests may bring bottles of wine and champagne on board. When bottles are brought on board and served or consumed in any restaurant, public room area or in their stateroom, a corkage fee will be charged according to bottle sizes noted below. 750 ml Bottle: $15.00 USD 1,500 ml Magnum: $30.00 USD Wine or champagne sent directly to the ship by travel agents, friends, family, etc. or from another retail source, are subject to the same fees. Box wines are not allowed on board.

I know Memphis......even cheap Carnival allows or has or will do..... we get it. Geez

The Ncl cruise person we booked with. In fact they told us there is really no limit on bottles of wine or champs. AND they stayed you only pay fee for corkage at the dining room -no charge if opened in room. However when you board they take all bottles, box and store them then you pay $15 fee to have it delivered to your room even if they have nothing to do with the cork. Even cheap carnival

You can go to Guest Services and get a form to submit to request a Daily Service Fee from NCL. May take a bit but it's refunded. Well, the lobster won't be an issue any more as NCL is eliminating that all together at all restaurants (including Haven) Sorry you had a bad cruise, I've been on the Dawn and Breakaway and typically a note / phone call to the Hotel Director while on board solves a lot of issues.

Hi Memphis..... who told you that yoi could bring 4 bottles of wine on board without a corkage fee? I'm also confused about it being confiscated unless you refused to pay the corkage fee. The alcohol policy is right there on the NCL website.

Cont.... No option for eliminating or reducing tip/service fees if you happen to be one who likes to tip per person based on your personal service. We had no tv or phone on dawn until day 4. Told we would get $30 credit on service fees due to their inability to repair. Took act of congress to actually get it 12 weeks later. They also charge for lobster- even cheap carnival has it free one night.

I'm with space coast on this one. Was on the dawn March 2016 told we could bring bottles of wine 4 in cabin use with no cork fee- not so they confiscate all and force you to pay the $15 to get it delivered to your room. Not so with others including less exp Carnival. Room service fees. Gratuity charges on top of the prepaid unlimited drink plan prices- not so with others.

sorry you didn't enjoy the cruise space, could you let us know some of the opposite?

I'm glad you enjoyed the cruise. My opinion was a polar opposite.
