Review summary

I would recommend a different cruise line. Old ship, few activities only one small pool, unable to accomodate dinner reservation for large group (12 people).

The Dawn is our favorite ship! Can't wait to see her after the refurb! I make sure you research future ships before booking so you know what is and isn't on the ship. Also call before your cruise to make dining reservations.

We never used the pool. It's more like a meeting hub for us. Plan your meals around activities and shows to make the most of what they offer. Meet people! Make your own activities! Party of 12 with how much notice? You're on vacation so make it yours! We're going for trip #2 soon. We always try to make the best of everything we can and if we don't we don't blame the cruiseline...

Photos of the ship to show more than one Pool Plus several of the big hot tubs. There's even a private pool area for the little kids.

The Dawn is a wonderful old ship. I would suggest a larger ship with more activities, etc. Not necessarily a different cruise line.
