Review summary

Overall had a good time, but it was obvious that some of the management/organizational decisions made for a sometimes frustrating experience for the passengers and crew (who worked extremely hard and were excellent overall). Main example was how difficult it was to get drinks, which I've heard is usually pretty easy on a cruise, but on this one it was like pulling teeth. Also the lacking availability of basic drinks like Bud Light, which was sometimes unavailable at the Irish Pub themed place, but was available at the coffee bar a stones throw away? Huh? Same thing with cocktails, most of the time they were out of whatever I asked for. The food was good, but getting space at any of the specialty restaurants was almost impossible, which would have been fine if the "complimentary" restaurants didn't take 40+ min to bring you the day's special. Last complaint would be ship navigation, which was confusing and would have been made a whole lot better if they had just handed out maps to each cabin.

Other than all of that, still had a great time, plenty to do on ship, and the island was great.

Thanks for sharing your cruise.

Sorry to hear that nurse! I always print and bring a copy of my reservations...pretty much a copy of everything in a folder.

When trying to contact anyone in guest services nobody answers the phone. Bermuda is beautiful but would go with another cruise line in the future. Royal Carribean is by far the best line out there never disappointed.

Many people did make reservations in advance prior to boarding only to be told they did not have anything noted on there accounts! So many disappointments drinks being one of them we could not get drinks in the casino as they did not have Madori or bud light really? We were told to go to another bar behind the casino which was closed. We had to ask 2 days in a row to have someone make our beds.

Make your dining reservations ahead of time. Makes it much easier. Shipmate has a layout of the ship right on here.

Do they still have the ship layout at each elevator? I was always lost lol. I had pictures of each deck layout on my phone but rarely had it with me. I was told they replaced the fish in the carpeting...can you confirm this?

Look on your cell phone providers map. Sometimes you would pay international rates when you're at sea but you might have free weights or within your providers contract when you're on land. For instance, AT&T has coverage out in Aruba.

Any idea if cell phones work on the ship and when you are in port in Bermuda? I want to be able to stay in touch with my kids at home and am afraid I won't be able to.
