A cruise to remember!

Well, we thought we were sailing from a port that had not only a lot of history which would further enhance our experiencing Bermuda for the first time.  We were so wrong.  Bermuda was gorgeous, but the cruise experience was a nightmare.  We were inundated with small children running completely wild all over the ship.  We were further tormented by teens without boundaries or rules which made them either rude or so loud that you could not enjoy a meal. Then there were the adults who must have been on a crusade to drink themselves senseless.  They were loud and rude all day and all night long all over the ship.

As a result of the wild and senseless drinking, we got very little sleep.  The cruise line helped us one night, but we just could not see complaining every night.  It is not our style to whine about things.  But this was probably our worst cruising experience ever!!

One night we tried to get to sleep and were disturbed by drunken fighting and shouting right outside of our door---it was 3:30 a.m.  Other nights were much the same.  We asked the staff to help once and they must have removed the guy next door as he sounded like he needed to be restrained.  Never heard him again, but the mother and the kids were drunk and loud every night until the wee hours of the morning.  I even saw our room attendant scrubbing their carpet after their all night binge---can't imagine what they did to warrant that!

Food and Dining
Venetian not so great. Others were very good.
Service and Staff
Children's Programs We are both former teachers and love kids, but the kids on board this time---were of another species. The only program for them should have been manners and deportment.
Onboard Activities
Destinations and Excursions
Ship Quality
The nature of the people on board disallowed any way to keep it clean. Bathrooms were a nightmare everywhere. I saw women assigned to clean NOT doing their job. Just emptying trash cans--My husband said men's rooms were much the same.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
We went when our color was called. The rudes of Mass. just got in line as they pleased. As a result, we were last to pick up our luggage and almost missed our transportation. Luckily, a staff member got us to our ride.

On other NCl cruises, they had staff members posted checking your tag color or destination and redirecting you if you were not yet called. As a result, disembarking was a breeze.

The staff seemed not to be doing anything except saying good bye. They should have been checking who should go where and when. We were in a line that went around the ship several times!! It took us an hour to get through it!! Every color under the sun was in front of us! We were supposed to be one of the first as we had a plane to catch. Luckily, the airport was near the cruise dock and we did not have a problem. However, it is unnerving to have to go through such torture to get off the ship.

Worst of all---all around us people were smoking like crazy or throwing up from too much booze--I bet the whole side of the ship was a mess. The young man behind me almost threw up on us. Someone directed him to the side of the ship at just the right moment! Yuk!
Cabin / Stateroom
First day our cabin had hair in the shower bottom---a big wad. We asked the attendant to clean it and give us towels. He did neither and did not do a turn down. Other times we were missing towels, washcloths, bath mat, etc. He was not very reliable.
Boston, Massachusetts
King's Wharf, Bermuda King's Wharf was okay, but not very convenient to the rest of the island where beaches and towns were nicer and more interesting.

We do like the smaller ships--easy to get around in. This one, however, seemed overcrowded due to the nature of the clientele onboard. It seemed you were always bumping into kids who were running amok. Also, unlike the Star, people saved multiple seats everywhere and this made it difficult to sit
