Some Pros, Some Cons

Sail Date: December 01, 2014

Reviewed: 1 year ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

It did not seem to be up to the standards of the other ships\, so not that great.

Pros: The food was great\, including the food provided at no extra charge. The entertainment was pretty good. Second City did a nice job. Most of the ports were nice.

Cons: Service in the restaurants was\, for the most part\, terrible. On more than one occasion it took over an hour to get the main course. The entertainment provided by the ship crew was not good. Probably a good idea to let real performers perform. The Roatan port was not a great place to visit.

Recommends Norwegian Dawn? Yes!

Ship Quality
Size was fine\, layout was fine\, public areas were fine\, decor was outdated\, cleanliness was good\, accessibility was fine.
Food and Dining
Food quality was great\, options were good\, dining times were fine\, ambiance was fine\, service was terrible (soooo slow).
Cabin / Stateroom
All fine\, nothing special about it.
Service and Staff
Most staff were exceptionally nice (Porn who was our waiter\, and Victor our Stateroom steward\, and several others). There were a few who were not\, including the hostess at The Venetian. We went there several times and every time she was cold as ice.
