Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The open dining style is not good because they essentially serve the same food in the free dining areas\, just change it around a little. For vegetarians\, no options and the staff were not open to alternatives as other cruise lines are. The cabin Stewart did not do anything special and half the time forgot to turn down the cabin when told to do so.

Ever heard of a happy hour where they serve 2 for 1 alcoholic drinks but not alcoholic drinks?
Oh yeah and they charge a 12 dollars per day per person service fee or auto gratuity regardless of the service given to you. What ever happened to tip based on merit?

Pros: Destinations

Cons: Food\, service

Recommends Norwegian Dawn? No.

Cabin / Stateroom
Food and Dining
Ship Quality
Hallways smelled occasionally. Trays of food and carts left in hallways\, easy to trip over and bang into.

Very difficult to get to dining hall as you can only go from certain floors or stairs.
Service and Staff
Very limited activities during the day while on ship at sea. I.e. no dance classes or games that were free. Basically a money making scheme. I pay 500 dollars a person for a hotel room????

Also this cruise all geared towards 55+
