Mediocre Cruise Ship in Quality

Sail Date: March 01, 2013

Reviewed: 3 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

We recently sailed on Norwegian Dawn that was a relatively medium-sized ship. The overall ship quality and services were acceptable\, not great by any measure. The reason we took Norwegian was because of its free-style cruising. Other than that nothing was appealing to us.
It provided limited food choices compared with some other cruise ships\, Princess\, for instance. The toilet in our stateroom didnt function properly. Its seat didnt stay up\, so my husband had to hold it up each time he used the toilet. Shore excursions were kind of disorganized. The art auction didnt show sufficient professionalism and performed without much enthusiasm and interaction. The billing statement delivered to us in the last minute\, which caused us unnecessary hassle to walk around the ship to get access to the mid-ship service counter for questions

Pros: Free-Style Cruising

Cons: Its Services

Recommends Norwegian Dawn? No.
