Godd Family Cruise

Sail Date: July 01, 2013

Reviewed: 3 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship itself was lovely\, but the pool area was way to crowded with not enough seating capacity and the pool was way to small for the amount of guests. We were disappointed to find out about all the unexpected costs for restaurants and on board activities.

Pros: We enjoyed the \"free\" style cruising best

Cons: The overcrowded pool are with not enough seats and small pool.

Recommends Norwegian Dawn? Yes!

Ship Quality
The layout was satisfactory but a bit confusing at first. The elevators were very slow and frustrating.
Food and Dining
Good food for the dining areas included in the cost of the cruise.
Cabin / Stateroom
We expected a small room\, but I had to climb over the bed to get in and out. The mattress was awful - hard.
Service and Staff
Very friendly staff. Many found it very difficult to speak english.
Entertainment
Having been to many all inclusive resorts and other cruises\, we found the quality of the ship entertainers to be a bit corny and sloppy. The shows that sparked our interest all had additional costs.
