Ship: Norwegian Dawn
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Couple

The ship was clean and orderly with a freindly crew. Some of the chairs and carpets were showing some age, but overall the ship is in great shape.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate at the specialty restaurants taking advantage of the freestyle cruising\, however the other restaurants were also good at lunch time and breakfast.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We had terrific shows by the crew production as well as the guests on board. The variety was great with Jack London\, an entertainer who impersonates the greats\, and with Extreme Vegas who brought magic\, comedy and acrobatics that were fun for all. Then we had Second City who were extremely talented at improvisational comedy and had the ship roaring in laughter. There was also a comedian on board for a couple of days that was fantastic\, but I cannot remember his name.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our cabin crew was terrific: made tremendous towel animals for us every night and kept things clean. Happy Happy\, Washy Washy girls were always there with a smile in the buffet. The desk staff were helpful and freindly too. Bar servers were everywhere and always nice.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The room was showing its age with a sofa that was a bit worn\, a toilet seat that has scraped up and stained\, and patio furniture on the balcony that was corroded.

Pros: The onboard entertainment was spectacular

Cons: not enough daily fun stuff for adults

Recommends Norwegian Dawn? Yes!
