Wonderful Cruise

we prefer a smaller ship....we have been on the dream and the majesty and its just easier to find your way around. pool is nice but very crowded at times, hard to get down the ladder. my daughter did have one thought and that was that you should rent walky talkies...there were many instances where we would have to find a phone and call her room to see if she was there. we have cell phones but of course they were not useable.. I understand none of the ships dock at st george's anymore but i prefer that port to heritage. We sort of got to know our wayaround there ..proximity to tobacco bay beach etc. Of course Horse Shoe Bay will always be my favorite.

Ship Quality
We prefer a smaller ship. We were at the forward section of the vessel and most of our time was at the garden cafe or the kiddie pool so there was alot of walking involved\, which of course was a good thing I suppose.
Food and Dining
Our favorite meal was breakfast. We discovered the Blue lagoon and ate there the last few mornings. The Garden Cafe was recommended to us\, but we don't like the lines associated with buffets....Burgers at the Bimini Bar were excellent. We generally ate at the Venetian or Aqua for dinner. I prefer Aqua although a window table at Venetian was nice......The prime rib was delicious but the steaks were thin\, and a bit tough and not up to what we would have at home. Desserts\, salads\, and soups were great..but I wouldn't rave about the lamb OR steak.....
Cabin / Stateroom
small\, but that's to be expected. very pretty\, and immaculate. our steward did an excellent job of keeping it spotless.
Service and Staff
exceptionally friendly. always smiling despite the hours and months they are working. but we have been on 4 of your cruises and they are always like this. My husband bought a bucket of Foster beer at the topsider bar. He could not carry two of the buckets as the beer cans are large and could not fit 6 in one bucket. One of the girls there actually carried one all the way back to our stateroom. now that is going above and beyond......he always regretted he didn't get her name and he would have nominated her for the prize. all the dining room help were the same..could not find a complaint with any of them..not that we were trying.
Entertainment
we went to all the shows at the stardust theater...they were magnificent. can't say enough of the professionalism ..we learned first night to get there early to be sure of a seat. Paul the cruise director was hysterical.....what a personality.. we went to his show one afternoon and he is quite the comedian....In the future we would always try to book our trip when he was the cruise director......and Captain Paul was such a regular guy.......what a great sense of humor he had.....the last night when the entire crew got up on the stage was just terrific......talent show was amazing....the chef that sang One In A Million sounded better than the original singer.....you could never complain for lack of something to do. everything was terrific.
Children's Programs
our almost 4 year old grandson was with us and LOVED the childrens daycare. He wanted to go there everyday..it was great because it gave us a chance to have a quiet dinner when we desired. spent alot of time at kiddie pool. the stuff they did for the kids at the daycare was terrific.....he really loved it\, and he won't go to the one at the tennis club my daughter belongs to.......so that speaks for itself.
