Overall, this cruise is ideal for first time cruisers or just to get away without spending an insane amount of money. The ship itself is an older ship but still has recently been refurbished therefore the appearance is up to date with some of the more newer ships. The staff on the ship was very tenative however, we found that they were not as personable as staff on other ships. Although the staff was not extremely personable, our room steward Ariel, was amazing. He was extremely personable and friendly and was always there to help us when we needed him. The overall quality of the food on the ship was good. The buffets were \"buffet quality\" but the overall selection and quality of the food seemed to be up to par with our standards. If you are looking for a classy place to eat, The Venetian and Aqua restaurants were excellent, and included in the price. Personally, I wouldnt waste my money on the specialty restaurants that you have to pay for. Surprisngly, the staterooms were rather large compared to other ships. The only flaws we found on the ship were their lack of differentiation between shows and lack of swimming pools. Their shows were very unique however, two different nights they had one lady, Geri Sager, that to be quite honest wasnt exciting at all. The pool is a typical cruise pool however, it would be beneficial if they had a second one...preferably an adults only pool. Lastly, I would recommend that they enforce the rules as far as the hot tub and night club go.

Pros: Affordability\, Bermuda\, Service

Cons: Shows need improvement\, Geri Sager

Recommends Norwegian Dawn? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
The buffet was \"buffet quality\" but what can you really expect when cooking for that many people.
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
The staff was very attentive to our needs\, however\, i do recomend that they be more personable.
It was nice that there was always something fun and exiciting to do while on board the cruise ship. We never really found that we had nothing to do while on board because they had plenty of fun activities planned throughout the day. However\, We do recomend that you PLEASE end your ties with Geri Sager. She is not exciting to watch nor is she a great singer. It would be beneficial for the cruise line to come up with some new shows to watch in the Star Dust Theatre however\, the Bollywood and Duo Acrobatique shows were very interesting and unique to watch.
