10 Night Southern Caribbean (Miami Roundtrip)
Sail Date: December 04, 2011
Ship: Norwegian Dawn
Cabin Type: Balcony
Reviewed: 6 years ago

The ship was older ... they have only remodeled one floor ... a bit misleading. The people on the cruise were 90% above 65. Heard many coughing. We ended up catching something on the cruise at the mid way point and this made the second half of the cruise less than enjoyable.

Food and Dining

Two "free" dinner restaurants for a 10 day cruise was a little light. All the other restaurants had a cover charge of between 10 and 50 dollars per person. Drinks were no bargin either. Only free drinks on the ship were milk, coffee, tea, ice tea and water.Very easy to ring up a $1,000 restairant / bar tab.

Bed was hard and sterooms were old ... stains on carpet

Pros: The service people on the ship were great!

Cons: The ports were all the same once you have seen one Island you have seen them all.

Recommends Norwegian Dawn? No.
