Freestyle dining allowed diversification when dining. You had the option to eat alone, meet with friends, or join people at random. The suggested formal nights gave the option but not the requirement of dressing up. Some people did, others did not. The nightly entertainment was great. There were numerous shore excursions to chose from and the related costs weren't excessive. The tours were well organized and coordinated. Partial or complete refunds were awarded without argument whenever a tour did not deliver - weather or equipment problems.

See the Mayan ruins. Nothing to see in town. The aerial cable tour was fun but is better in Roatan.

Don't let Steve Irwin's freak accident stop you from swimming with the stingrays. What an experience. They are so tame, you can pet, hold, and even kiss them.
Don't Miss: Stingray City

The aerial cable tour ending in Gumbalinda Park was great. Got to hand feed the Macaws and monkeys after flying through the trees. There is absolutely nothing worth seeing or shopping for near the port.
Don't Miss: Aerial cable tour

Stay away from the "White River independant tours". Shopping is probably the best you can do here.
Don't Miss: Dunn's River is worth doing once.

The submarine was not confining and had adequate external lighting to see the coral and marine life at depths below 30 feet.
Don't Miss: Atlantis submarine

OK for a beach stop but the snorkeling was very limited.
Don't Miss: Not much

Pros: Freestyle dining, nightly entertainment

Cons: Limited dance floors. Most ports required taking a tender to shore.
