The Norwegian Dawn - one of our top 5

Sail Date: November 12, 2006

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Balcony

The ship is beutiful but poorly laid out, the service was ok but not the best , the specialty rest aurants were great. The casino stakes were too high .. No $5 tables. The Texas Hold em staff didn't know much about the game and made a lot of mistakes. The rooms themselves were very nice. Lot for children to do so that was a good point vs other NCLs we've taken that didn't have much for kids.

Pros: with 15 cruises this was one of our top 5 great cuisine, nice rooms, well appointed

Cons: Casino tables too high minimum $10 vs carnival with $3, service was not the best but adequate , layout of ship was hard to manuever
