A Big Disappointment

Sail Date: April 01, 2007

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Inside

We arrived on the ship with high hopes of 11 days of good food and great times. The times were there to be had but the food was a whole different story. They boast of all the great restaurants to chose from and you find that most of them have a $20 per person cover charge even for the children. The restaurants that are available without a cover serve the same menu and the buffet is food that just keeps adding new meat or vegetables and changing the name.
The children's program was not helpful and we had an 11 year old with us who was not allowed to go with the children from 7 to 10 and he was afraid to play with the next group of kids so he spent 11 days by himself or with us adults. When we asked about him going with the younger group we were told "there is no age jumping" I checked on his group personnally and they were loud, rude, and ran free on the ship using profanity.

Pros: The ship was beautiful and spacious except for the stateroom.

Cons: The food that was available was tasteless.
