5 out of 5

2nd time on the great Dawn

Sail Date: February 18, 2007

This cruise (Feb 18 to March1st) was our second on the Dawn, our 5th totally. After our first on the Dawn we would only consider Norwegian Cruise Line for future cruises, since (in our opinion) they are the absolute best in all areas of the cruise experience. Our sesond trip met all our expectations and as prove we booked again. We took advantage of the on board booking benefits and will be taking the next cruise on the new ship Norwegian Gem on Jan 26th, 2008.We already are looking forward to it.

Pros: delicious meals, great service

Cons: crowded pool area, hard to find a seat at times.

Recommends Norwegian Dawn? Yes!

Food and Dining
absolutely superb. Freestyle dining is the way to go. We personally enjoy to dress up for atleast one meal a day, usually dinner, but at times also for lunch. The staff is a delight.
Ship Quality
We would like to see a better selection of music played on the stateroom TV for the times we need to be in our staterooms. There are many older persons on board who wish maybe a choice of "easy listening" music rather than constant rock, disco, rap on the one music chnannel available
Cabin / Stateroom
It is amazing how much comfort and storage a small stateroom can offer. It was always clean and temperature adjusting is quick and easy.
Service and Staff
Going above and beyond is the correct comment. It is absolutely pleasant to deal with any of them.
Entertainment
there is certainly something for everybody's taste. Music in the lounges is very good, a couple of shows were average but stil entertaining, some were excellent.
