7 Night Bermuda (New York Roundtrip)
Sail Date: July 02, 2006
Ship: Norwegian Crown
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Couple

The ship was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and I was happy to be there just about the whole time. We were on the poor man's deck, and it was still beautiful and luxurious. The room was well appointed, as was the rest of the ship.

Food and Dining

The food was rediculous. I am a vegetarian and my husband is allergic to wheat, so we have specialized dining requirements. Without even having to tell them, we both dined better then we have in years. It was SO tasty too!!!! And they had 24 hour room service too.

Entertainment

There was a lot of things available for us to do at any time of the day or night. Because it was a family cruise, everything was a little hokey though. There was a lot of "cheesy" quality to the activities, but the shore excursion programs were GREAT!! Even the hokey-ness of the on board activities didn't make for bad activities, it's more like I would have been comfortable if my grandma was sitting next to me.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone had a good morning, or hello for us and was happy to help us with anything. Everyone was friendly and helpful with anything we ever asked for. We even filled out the comment card at the end with a glowing review of the staff.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was big enough for us to only get a little bit sick of it by the 7th/8th day.

Cabin / Stateroom

The room was a little cramped, but we were on the budget cruise, so for the price we paid, it was wonderful. It was clean, well designed, and everything made sense as to where it was. Even the bathroom was nice. The whole room experience was one of comfort.

Beautiful beaches, wonderful and polite people, amazing shipwrecks and forts to explore, a great experience all around.
Don't Miss: rum cake/ glass factory, snorkle park, frog and onion pub, forts

Beautiful beaches, wonderful and polite people, amazing shipwrecks and forts to explore, a great experience all around.
Don't Miss: front street, street fair

Pros: the ease of everything (not having to plan for eating, getting back to a hotel, travelling etc.), the food, the disposition of the staff, and Bermuda was BEAUTIFUL

Cons: after 7 days, you run out of places to go to amuse yourself on the ship
