All in all, we had a nice time. The Breakaway is a large ship and crowd management is important to the overall experience. The chair saving by the poor continues to be a problem leaving many chairs empty for extended periods of time with many people unable to fing a seat.

This was only my second cruise on Norwegian and I did sign up for the cruise next package that will give us a discount on future cruises. I would suggest that you research the ship prior to going on this or any cruises.

Cruise was worth the money spent. I enjoyed myself and looking forward to doing it again

My overall review is simple. We joined this cruise to attend a cousins 30th birthday celebration. I also traveled with a first time cruiser and what I have experienced on past cruise ships is not what I experience on this cruise NCL/breakaway. The cruise staff were thin and rushed which made the service we received feel cold and rushed or forgotten about. The breakaway ship was clean and put together well but as you looked closer throughout the week areas and items were worn and needed replacing or fixed (couches, tables etc). Time spent on the islands were just not enough specifically I am referring to st thomas and ncl's own island. Would I go on a cruise again YES in a heart beat (we had a blast) :) but I would look closer at the cruise line/ship first.

We enjoy Norwegian other than toilet not working. Big inconvenience.

I'm certainly not in any type of a hurry to sign up for another cruise in my immediate future.

First time cruisers. We enjoyed ourselves and the cruise overall.

Lori Brattina was excellent as our travel agent from start to finish. She spent many hours answering questions, providing detailed information, periodically calling/emailing throughout the waiting period for our trip, double checking we had everything we needed to have an easy embarkation, and even checking in on us during our trip. Lori is very accurate, thorough, and patient with all of our questions. We had the trip of a lifetime and Lori is much to thank for this experience. It was our first time cruising ever, we took four kids with us under the age of 15, and all six of us had the time of our lives. Thank you Lori for your guidance and support. We will absolutely cruise again and use Lori @ Dream Vacations as our agent! We had amazing service, great food, my kids made lifelong friends on the ship, as adults we loved the evening entertainment. Syd Norman's Pour Haus band was incredible- the Fleetwood Mac show and 80s Prom was phenomenal. We had so much fun laughing and singing with the Howl at the Moon guys. Atrium entertainment was fun and full of laughs and the dancing by the cruise directors was Wow! Our cabin was clean and had plenty of storage- our steward was phenomenal. My teenage boys loved the basketball courts and made long distance friends and my younger daughter loved all the water activities and choices. We had so much fun at each of the ports. Cozumel Paradise Beach service was top notch and the floating water park was a hit for the kids. Roatan the sloths made a core memory impression on all of us, the underwater glass boat showed us the second biggest reef in the world, and Henry Morgans beach gave us a taste of the Roatan water and somewhere to grab food and drinks. Harvest Caye pool is top notch and the beach chairs give a great view of the ocean. We loved the scenic river raft tour to Lake Bacalar while in Costa Maya and our tour guide Ishmael was full of information and helpful and advocated for an authentic Mexican meal at the end. We had the best time and can't wait to go again!

Had a nice time overall. Picked the wrong cruise for us; wrong time of year for a nice anniversary cruise for a mature couple. Learned what to do/not to do for next cruise.

Overall, my family had a great time on the Breakaway! This was our first experience on a cruise ship and we did not know what to expect nor did we have anything to compare it to. The ship was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. The food and drink selection was wonderful with a variety of options. It was a bit windy some of the days so we missed out on some of the outdoor activities but plenty of other things to do on the ship. We went during Spring Break so there were a lot of kids (to include my own) to compete with but that is to be expected when you travel during times like that. We had a great time

I have ben on 30+cruises.The food was not good. bad room steward and toilet would not flush .Cost way too much for service and quality of food!!!

I thought this cruise was amazing. The ports, excursions, ship activities, food, drinks and cleanliness was well worth the price. We'll definitely be cruising with Norwegian in the future!

The ship and the "floating hotel" functioned flawlessly. Even as an experienced world traveler, I was enthralled by the views, the food and the service.

We have been on this cruise 4 or 5 times on different ships. We have always enjoyed the trips, food, service and the people we meet. As with all cruises, it can be as active or as restful a cruise as you want.

Free at Sea is misleading. How can it be free if you can not get it? (Bars). Cigar room is a nice addition and well kept. Be prepared for long lines and poor service on a pretty well maintained ship.

I don't think I would book with again. Mainly because they didn't tell me about the mandatory tips. This ended up costing me an extra $140 that I did not even factor into my cruise budget. If I did not bring on extra money or my credit card, who knows what would have happened. But for the cruise line itself, Norwegian Breakaway is a very very nice ship and there is a lot to do for just about everyone. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Book with Norwegian itself. Don't rely on not unless you want to end up with a lot of extra charges that they didn't tell you about.

Would never recommend NCL to anyone. There wasn’t much to be happy about. Cagneys and burn the floor were the only two things that were good on a 7 night cruise. That’s pathetic.

Won't be sailing on this boat again. One of out ports got skipped and they only gave us a $15 refund. Pretty pathetic. Not much at all to do on the boat. Same 2 events replayed every single night. I know they can do better but choose not to.
