Not our best experience on Norwegian

Sail Date: May 31, 2015

Room Type: Inside

It is a beautiful ship with so much to offer. However, because of Norwegian's offer of children under 12 sail free, there were times of chaos, tantrums and shouting.  It was hard to enjoy our dinner in the Main Dining Room when an overtired child is throwing her silverware and food and the parent is yelling at her.  There were many incidents like this all over the ship.  We have had so many wonderful cruises on Norwegian and hope to again but probably on one of there smaller ships that does not offer
the children free package.

I should also mention that the food was not as good as our previous cruises on Norwegian.

Ship Quality
Beautiful ship with wonderful entertainment
Food and Dining
Not as good as other Norwegian cruises
Service and Staff
Onboard Activities
Cabin / Stateroom
This was not a good location. We could hear trays and dishes banging in the middle of the night. Apparently, we were under restaurants on the Deck 6. Guest Services was wonderful. They moved us to a new
room in a much quieter location.
New York, New York
Parking right next to the terminal may be expensive, but so convenient. We parked at 10:30 and were on the ship by noon.

Do not miss the White Hot Party with the fireworks.
