We loved the Haven on the Breakaway.  The cruise within a cruise concept was perfect for us.  We made use of the entertainment and specialty restaurants  that couldn't be found on a smaller ship, but were more than happy to retreat back to the Haven for the lounge, restaurant,  pool area, and sun deck.  The staff was terrific, and we enjoyed the other Haven guests we met on the trip.  We stayed in the Haven Courtyard Penthouse Suite.  We had looked at pictures and diagrams prior to the trip, but frankly we were still disappointed with our cabin.  It was the smallest suite cabin we've ever had, and was much more a mini-suite.  Although the bed was great, there was really no other place to be comfortable in the cabin.  The 'couchette' is a folding bed, and hard.  There are two small chairs next to a tiny dining table that seem to tilt forward, we felt we were sliding out of them. Folding chairs would have been better. The balcony was exceptionally small.  The bathroom was too small for a hairdryer, so it was necessary to sit in front of the cabin door to use it the permanently attached dryer.  There was a magnifying mirror circle on the wall mirror by the hairdryer.  Unfortunately is was too low to use while standing, and to high to be used while seated.  I don't think we'd ever choose the same cabin, but we'd stay in the Haven on the Breakaway again in a heart beat.

Food and Dining

We only ate at the specialty restaurants. We enjoyed our meals

5 out of 5
We felt the entertainment was the best we've seen on board a ship

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We spent most of our time in the Haven and felt the entire staff was outstanding

Ship Quality

It's a very big ship, and the public areas get crowded and noisy. But being so large, there are a lot of entertainment and dining opportunities. It's a trade off. The casino is open to the atrium, and it can get smoky.

Cabin / Stateroom

The picture makes it look larger than it felt.
