Sail Date: November 01, 2014
Ship: Norwegian Breakaway
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Large Group

I find the ship too enormous and crowded. It was difficult to find seats at Garden Cafe. Poor accessibility. Reservations for entertainments\, dining\, and shore excursions sold out quickly due to the large number of passengers.

Overall good programs especially Second City and Burn the Floor. Rock of Ages does not suit all ages.

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
Compared to other cruises\, the staff at Breakaway were not as friendly. They looked unhappy and overworked. The host and hostesses were not genuinely hospitable - I could sense an undercurrent tone of irritation.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
Ship design is subpar. Long treks from one end of the ship to elevators and dining areas. Aft and forward elevators can be helpful. Not as clean as other ships - stains on carpet and stateroom futon. Found cheerios on floor of stateroom first day. Stateroom toilet was not cleaned properly prior to boarding.

Cabin / Stateroom

Pros: Entertainment

Cons: Too big and crowded.
