This is a review of Juneau Sport Fishing. Norwegian finally after over a week removed this photo but the description is still not accurate. You do not get a fully appointed cabin cruiser. The toilet did not work and the bus left us behind. They did refund half of the fee, but this is not good enough. They stated, "You did get the fishing experience" and kept stating over and over "We don't have boats like that in Alaska". I did tell them they could donate the other half to Disabled American Veterans or Wounded Warrior but have not heard back from them. I did a review of this excursion on the Norwegian website, but it appears they are not going to post it. Overall, the trip was a good experience.

Bartenders Putu, Harold and Frank on the Observation deck bar were amazing. All bartenders were good, but these three stood out and should be commended for their customer service and timeliness of drink making and organizational skills.

Was our first Alaska cruise and hopefully many more to come!

Overall it was a brilliant cruise, exceeded our expectations. We were also lucky with weather, it was sunny and pleasant for the most of the cruise.

The service was so bad and that is what most peopel look forward to on a cruise. We will look for another cruise line to give us the service we not only paid for but deserve.

Sitting on our balcony watching the snow filled mountains. Seeing the whales was another amazing part.

This was our 2nd and last Norwegian. It’s just not worth it when there’s so many other cruise lines.

Sitka and Ketchikan were our favorite ports! There wasn’t a place to rate those. Alaska was beautiful! Definitely glad I did my research and packed appropriately. I usually get really cold and I purchased rechargeable hand warmers, a vest, and thinner waterproof jacket from Columbia. Pro Tip, if you don’t have winter gear (I live in central TX, so I didn’t) I got my stuff online at the start of summer all on sale!!

I probably won't be sailing Norwegian again. From sailing at least 30 times on different cruise lines, it rates at the bottom with Carnival.

I had the pleasure of interacting with Gusti, my room steward, during my voyage. He was exceptional—always pleasant and willing to assist, enhancing my experience significantly. Monica, who led the behind-the-scenes tour, was equally delightful. Her friendly demeanor and informative guidance made the tour a memorable part of my trip. Joseph at the Internet cafe was a standout for his helpfulness and integrity. His assistance was invaluable, making him a highlight of my journey. However, my overall experience with the rest of the crew and the cruise operations did not meet these high standards. The service could best be described as mediocre. I couldn't help but feel that the cruise line was intent on maximizing their profits at the expense of the guest experience, with upcharges and additional fees being a common theme throughout the trip. This was my third cruise with a third different line, and sadly, it ranked at the bottom of my list. The approach to cost-cutting was evident in various aspects, from apparent understaffing to a generally unsatisfactory experience. Based on this experience, I am hesitant to book with Norwegian Cruise Line again, unless I learn of significant improvements in their service and operational philosophy.

First, get the negative out of the way, none of which was NCL's fault. Easter came early this year, so it didn't occur to me when I booked this cruise that it would start on Easter Sunday. This meant that there were a lot of families with children sharing a cabin, so the ship's capacity at double occupancy is 4,004, but had over 4,800 passengers. It's been rare that I've had to wait for a meal on NCL, and when I did it was never more than 10 minutes. On this cruise, I had to wait as long as 30 minutes, and the service was slow. From the time we got to the main dining room until we left was often two hours. In spite of the extra work, the waiters were all cheerful and gave good service. This was also the shortest cruise I've been on (five days) and for me, there just wasn't enough time to enjoy all that the ship had to offer. In spite of all this, we had a good time. A bad day cruising is better than. . .I don't know, I never had a bad day cruising.

Would I use NCL again? More than likely, No. It was the first time my child didn't want to go to every session, because of the noise.

Overall we had a great experience with Norwegian on the Bliss.

Awesome cruise, great staff, lots of activities, ports of call and excursions were outstanding.

This was a good cruise. Nothing outstanding. Ship was nice. Observation lounge was amazing. District brew house was our favorite hang out.

Overall, we had a good time. People were polite for the most part kids were well behaved, no obnoxious children. They were all tended by their parents, even around the pool area. No, running down the hallways that I saw. Our cabin was quiet and dark at night how we like it. There was bad weather on the return to the LA port which caused a rocky last night, but no fault of the ship.

The cruise was wonderful and was near capacity with 4700 passengers onboard! Even so the ship rarely seems crowded unless you want to get a spot poolside or want lunch between 11:30-12:30 or dinner between 5:30-6:30 or attend an event in the main theater. If you can avoid those three things then there really aren't a whole lot of other times where there is congestion. There's plenty of open spaces outside for everyone to enjoy the sun and sea breezes. Likewise there's plenty of quiet spots inside the ship to either read or simply relax. Activities both indoors and outdoors for people to enjoy depending upon how active you like to be on vacation.

The Thermal Spa was wonderful after a long day at port. Very relaxing.
