Since I’ve cruised NCL 2020 to now food on the ships gone down hill and flavorless and watered down. Presentation is great but food not so much

Ports of call

KETCHIKAN (WARD COVE), ALASKA

Did the wildlife and crab feast and saw one bald eagle, pulled a crab pod and back to shore for crab feast. The money spent on that I could’ve stayed on shore and ate for less.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

We have done the Alaskan Cruise three times all with Princess. They know how to sail Alaska. Great Port stops and long Port times. If anyone is considering Alaska go with Princess

We did tons of research!! We’re not happy that we were the first ship to port and had the worst spot to get off. Long walk and the up to 2 hours to wait to get where we needed to be and your not there long enough as it was. Other ships that were behind us got the dock that was right at entrance. Just frustrating. Don’t get me wrong it was beautiful and glad I had the chance to visit but for the money I prefer to go else where.

Never heard anyone say they didn’t want to go back to AK. We’ve been several times and could never get tired of it - just an amazing place!

Sorry. Victoria is just a check-the-box stop to say they visited a foreign port.

Vancouver is a very important stop for the Alaska run. Without that stop it would cost the cruise line about $762 per passenger in US government fines. Read up on the 1886 Passenger Vessel Services Act (PVSA) if you want to fact check this statement. Another outdated law that fails to do what it was meant to do because of work-arounds.

Alaska has been on my wish list for so long. I'm surprised to see your negative opinion of it but I guess it's not for everyone. Sorry you didn't enjoy it.

Sorry you didn’t feel your Alaska cruise was worth what you spent, have several friends that feel as you. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, I suppose.

Have loved every one of our Alaska cruises. Did lots of research, and was fond of everything we did.

Thank you for taking the time to share your cruise with us. Sorry to hear you didn't think it was worth it. I am looking to go to Alaska next season. NCL is off the plate as I have heard too many bad reviews for Alaska. Looking at Carnival or Princess right new.
