This ship would be crazy fun in the Caribbean, but it was still a good choice for Alaska. I felt like we really got our money’s worth from our balcony. Observation deck was great addition. A few ventured into the heated pool and onto the water slide. We settled for the outdoor jacuzzi. Regarding entertainment, we really liked the Beatles tribute guys and the Jersey Boys. The main comedian was really good. The warm-up guy not so much. Havana was okay, but in spite of the good looking talented cast, just not everybody’s cup of tea. Buffet was above average most meals, in selection and quality of many items. The Local was usually a good option and the main dining rooms were pretty good, but take too long to get out. The Manhattan was our least favorite. Not going to complain, as we love freestyle dining. We don’t get get tempted to spend money on specialty dining. Didn’t see our room steward as much as on our previous cruises, but he was nice and did a good job. Most of the employees were nice and helpful.
