When we booked our cruise there were pieces of information not known about the cruise ship S/S Norway. It is imperative that information about ports be made known at the time of purchasing a cruise - i.e.: if, the ship will be anchoring out in the sea and transporting passengers via tenders to land, then that should be disclosed as a part of selling the cruise package. We found that most of the crewmembers were descent and helpful during the cruise. We did not go to St. Maarten during our May 19-26, 2002, cruise because the Captain of the S/S Norway failed to be truthful with the passengers, as to why the ship did not go to St. Maarten port. We encourage this site as well as the S/S Norway site, to be upfront with the public in terms of services to be expected. We believed that it is always good protocol to disclose pertaining data about what the public should be aware of; not after purchases are initiated.
