Poor check in service. On boarding the ship was like a sauna. Open seating was a disaster. two and hlf hrs to eat a meal. Wine steward filled wine glass once all evening. No activities on board. Boring, boring. All they wanted you to do was buy things. Had a massage and they spent 20 minutes trying to sell products. Same food in evening in Lido as dining room. Need some variety. If you were 80 years old this cruise is for you. Nothing to do. But lay around eat and sleep or roast in the sun. I can do that at home. We did have two nice stops. Tortola and Holland private Island. The lighting in the room for applying makeup are horrible and the extra blankets were soiled. We brought three other couples with us bragging how this line was the best and it ended up being an embarrassment. We have sailed nine times and never had this experience on any of the other cruises. This was a ten day cruise and I couldn't wait to get home. Music by the pool was horrible the girl could not sing the band was okay. The Nordam dance crew were great but that is about all you could say about this cruise. I would advise to not sail on Holland America.

Pros: Not much

Cons: open seating arangements. Poor food, Activities their were none.

Recommends Noordam? No.
