This was my 4th HAL cruise (2 on other lines). The ship was beautiful, and as others have noted, absolutely immaculate. The staff is completely attentive without being overbearing. On our cruise a few folks came down with a Norwalk-like stomach bug. The Noordam staff were so on top of it (isolating the sick folks, hand sanitizer everywhere, not shaking the captain's hand before the reception, constantly cleaning handrails, etc.) that they were able to keep it from affecting other passengers. Bravo, HAL! Our verandah suite was delightful - roomy, well-appointed, plenty of closet/shelf space, spacious bathrooms, etc. Just perfect.

Pros: The Noordam was beautiful - sailing out of NY so convenient!

Cons: Had a minor contretemps with the front office - it worked out, but I was not as impressed with their service

Recommends Noordam? Yes!
