The Noordam is Great

Sail Date: February 01, 2007

Room Type: Balcony

The Noordam is special to us because our first cruise was 15 years ago on the old Noordam. The new ship is very beautiful, the staff was great and the Pinnacle Grill was fabulous. Our regular dining room staff was so good it made it hard to leave the main dining room, but the Pinnacle Grill was amazing and their staff was also great.
When the cruise first left port, New York, it was a little strange because we have always left from a warm port. The staff did everything they could to make everyone comfortable and find activities to keep you busy. They had their work cut out for them since there were about 400 young children aboard. We came from the midwest and had no idea the New York area had a winter break. This accounted for the large number of children. However, everyone has to make their own fun and we didn't let this hamper our good times.
If you haven't figured it out by now, I was on vacation and no matter what I have a great time. The worst thing about the whole cruise was having to go home.

Pros: The great staff

Cons: The 400 children on winter break

Recommends Noordam? Yes!
