First cruise for Statendem since COVID. Only about 50% full. Great cruise.

We had an awesome time aboard Nieuw Statendam. Would definitely go again.

no no no no no no. This is supposed to be a brief survey.

Our 4th cruise on Holland America. (20 overall). We’ve done 10 Celebrity cruises but likely won’t return. The food and the service on Holland America is superior. Yes, the crowd is older but there were plenty of people 50 and younger. This ship is fantastic and we cannot say enough good about it. We were really impressed by their steps to eliminate straws, drink stirrers, tooth picks, plastic water bottles and unnecessary beverage napkins. There was none of the usual trash blowing around deck and overboard. Part of that may have been because there were beverage servers everywhere wanting to bring you a drink and cleaning up. But this line is really doing what it can to be responsible about the environment. Really well-run. We will be back.

We had a blast. Holland America is good for a nice relaxing cruise. We napped, drank, ate, and enjoyed the pool and music venues. We even bought a Future cruise credit which is good for 4 years. We seemed on the younger end of the clientele but everyone was having a good time.

If I had to choose between Nieuw Statendam and the Koningsdam, I would go in a heartbeat on the Koningsdam. Both ships are beautiful ships but something about the Koningsdam is my favorite.

The ship is new and extremely clean. The food was amazing in the MDR. The staff works so hard to provide great service. The Signature Suites are very comfortable and the TV is full of a great selection of movies and TV shows.

Holland America always deliver in services and quality.

I would definitely cruise on Holland America again and recommend it to others searching for a relaxing cruise.

You cannot find a better cruise line with better service (based on sailing 119 cruises). .... I know everyone has their own favorites.... Holland America's service people in dining rooms, cabin stewards, Guest Services, Spa, tour desk,and officers are consistently outstanding. I still dont know how many remember your names even if I sail every few months.

The weather was great. Excursion to Santiago, DR was great. Cabin was wonderful. Great new ship.

Beautiful ship, very clean. Needs more poolside activities. Food was best of any cruise I’ve been on.

Must use spa facilities it was most relaxing, just wish staff did not push product so hard after massages.

Overall enjoyed the cruise and the ship the staff were great

Great first cruise. I would 💯 cruise with Holland again. I actually I'm a bit nervous to book with anyone else other than Holland, but I know my 15 year old is itching to go now. I'll need to find a ship that will be fun for him.

Enjoyed this beautiful ship and activities very much. Overall quieter vibe than some other cruise lines (no hairy chest contest at the pool or water slide and miniature golf) but I happen to like that for a change. Service staff friendly and helpful. Food excellent and great entertainment. Only issue was 24 hour light outside on veranda, which prevented our using it from sunset to sunrise. Guest services said it was for safety-stairwell above these rooms affected 8177 to 8155. So avoid them if you like to sit there at night. Also noise from bar above but cannot hear that in room.
