You cannot find a better cruise line with better service (based on sailing 119 cruises). .... I know everyone has their own favorites.... Holland America's service people in dining rooms, cabin stewards, Guest Services, Spa, tour desk,and officers are consistently outstanding. I still dont know how many remember your names even if I sail every few months.

I had a wonderful time it’s a very beautiful ship wonderful staff. Great shows lots of things to do I never got board. I just couldn’t sit always had to be looking around can’t wat to see y’all next Christmas.

Holland America did not disappoint. Great food, service & entertainment.

A wonderful time! Our first with Holland America Line but not our last. From start to finish, no detail was too small or left undone.

We had a few hiccups early on the ship but overall turned out to be a great cruise. We loved the well thought out cabins and bathrooms. The public spaces had gorgeous and interesting art. It was a lovely itinerary to enjoy the beautiful and awesome nature of Norway.

We loved the ship and the services. We would not hesitate to take this ship again, and might even see where it is going and prefer it over others.

I had "watched" the Nieuw Statendam being built in Italy (on Instagram) so it was a thrill to be able to sail on her for her final inaugural Caribbean cruise before the transatlantic cruise back to Europe for the summer. There were no disappointments at all. The food and staff were definitely the highlights. I would highly recommend this ship....and don't be afraid of booking an obstructed veranda if money is an issue.

We were on the O Magazine Girls Getaway Cruise, so much of the normal offerings were replaced with O Magazine events. Had a blast, overall disappointed in the food and beverage, but it did not dampen the fun we had on this beautiful vessel.

Best food on a ship yet. Entertainment for the shows needs to be better. Ship was in spotless condition. Staff is amazingly helpful and always happy to help. Go on this ship it does not have a lot of kids on it and it was very enjoyable. Only thing I would say is the ship closed at midnight - nothing open it becomes very quiet.

This cruise was very relaxing. Because of weather two stops were cancelled (one each week). First was Key West and the second was Half Moon Cay. We were lucky, since we were able to go to Half Moon Cay the first week so we didn't feel like we lost out too much. Because of this, we ended up with 7 sea days total. We found that we enjoyed the days at sea more than we expected. It gave us time to relax and sit on our verandah. One thing worth checking out are the EXC Talks in the World Stage. They are done by the cruise director Vince. They had quite a few during the week, usually one at 10am and one at 2pm (all on different topics). They were really well done and informative. They are about 35-45 minutes and definitely worth checking out. Overall, I really recommend HAL to most people who want to relax with good food and service. Definitely more for couples or an older crowd. We are 40 and 43 and it was perfect for us.

We had a blast. Holland America is good for a nice relaxing cruise. We napped, drank, ate, and enjoyed the pool and music venues. We even bought a Future cruise credit which is good for 4 years. We seemed on the younger end of the clientele but everyone was having a good time.

All in all, a wonderful cruise. A beautiful ship with an outstanding crew..

Wonderful time. The East Coast Good Friday storm messed up our Saturday at Half Moon Cay. Great time overall, had much fun.

Amazing time! I definitely recommend this ship!

Enjoyed sea days as well as ports. Puerto Rico not so much. Very relaxing no pressur3 cruise. S9me families but not the usual brat kids running around.

If I had to choose between Nieuw Statendam and the Koningsdam, I would go in a heartbeat on the Koningsdam. Both ships are beautiful ships but something about the Koningsdam is my favorite.

24 days proved too long for us. Will do 14 max next time.

This was one of the best cruises we have ever done and we have done quite a few. If you ever get a chance to do the midnight sun in Norway it is well worth it.
